The WAIT team in Worcester is far from washed up, but the cars there are another story. On July 12, 2014, the team held their annual car wash fundraiser in the parking lot of Ginseng Up soda factory. Team members, siblings, and parents alike gathered to spend this warm, sunny day scrubbing down cars and spreading the WAIT message to local residents. Many parents donated to this event, from Uncle Paolo who secured the venue to Aunt Reiko who prepared the delicious refreshments. And of course, no one can forget Aunt Yoshie who got right down and started washing cars with the kids!
Altogether, the team made over $300 at the fund raiser, which will be used mainly as food and travel expenses for the local team. More importantly, they had the chance to speak with many of the customers about the WAIT program and our message.
