This was the second year that the Worcester WAIT Team performed at the annual Pumpkin Festival in Ashby, MA. The performance was on October 4--a thoroughly cold and rainy afternoon. Team members reported that the linoleum covering the performance mat was so slippery that the boys decided to do without it altogether for their breakdance act.

Despite weather conditions, the performance was a great success. The acts involved were breakdancing, "A Rose is Still a Rose," "Stand in the Rain," "Wait for Me," and the song "Cups/When I'm Gone" by Anna Kendrick. Everyone in the audience enjoyed the presentation and was grateful to the dedicated performers who braved the cold and rain to provide a heartwarming presentation for them.

After the WAIT performance, there was a presentation from a local Irish stepdancing company, a tractor parade, and a variety of games and activities for everyone to participate in. Everyone had a good time, and the team looks forward to performing at the festival once more next year.
